Obituary for Leontine M. Hilton

Leontine M Hilton, 89, of Beverly passed peacefully on May 15, 2018. She was lovingly surrounded by her husband of 71 years, ”Austie”, her children and grandchildren.

Lee was a proud and lifelong resident of Beverly. She graduated from Beverly High School class of 1946. She was the daughter of George and Viola (Kauftman) Marks. Lee and Austie enjoyed traveling. She loved visiting the Caribbean Islands. She was an avid reader, enjoyed playing bridge and solving her crossword puzzles. She especially enjoyed her home and family. The old fashion Sunday dinners were the highlight of her week.

In addition to her husband Austin H. Hilton, Jr. of Beverly, she is survived by two daughters, Cynthia E. Ray of North Berwick, ME and Paula J. Harmer of Beverly; one son, David A. Hilton and his wife, Susan of Westborough; one sister, Marion Gould of Maine; eight grandchildren, Kevin, Kenneth, David, Michelle, Patrick, Amanda, Olivia and Andrew; Seven great grandchildren, David, Austin, Madelyn, Gabrielle, Olivia, Patrick and Amanda. She is predeceased by her brothers, Fredrick Marks and Bo Marks, one sister Elizabeth Pearson and grandson Zachary Hilton.

Her Funeral Services will be held privately. Arrangements by the Campbell Funeral Home 525 Cabot St, Beverly, MA 01915.
