Obituary for Kenneth J. Belanger

BEVERLY - Kenneth J. Belanger, 77, husband of the late Carmella C. (Tricomi) Belanger, passed away peacefully Thursday, January 3, 2019. Born and raised in Salem, he was the son of the late Ben and Laura (Nadeau) Belanger.
An honorary discharged veteran he served in the United States Navy. Kenneth was stationed at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba during the Cuban Missile Crisis with the Seabees.
Kenneth loved sports, cars, college football, and traveling. He worked for 40 years at GTE Sylvania. He was a devoted member of St. Mary Star of the Sea Church in Beverly. He loved tinkering around and telling stories. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by one son, Kenneth J. Belanger Jr. and his wife Dana of Beverly; one daughter Christine M. Belanger of Beverly; a sister, Patricia Fallis; an uncle Mario Tricomi and his wife Lucy; a sister in law Judy Belanger; a brother in law David Baldinelli, grand puppies Jake and Zoe. Kenneth is predeceased by four brothers, Richard, Larry, Emo, and Francis Belanger.
His Funeral mass will be held in St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, Beverly on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 9 AM. Relatives and friends will be invited to attend. Visitation will be held at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly on Monday from 4 PM to 7 PM. Contributions may be made in his name to VFW at vfw.org .
