Obituary for Jerry C. Vitale

BEVERLY – Jerry C. Vitale, 74, of Beverly, passed away from injuries sustained in a car accident Wednesday morning, May 30, 2018 while surrounded by his family at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. He was the beloved husband of Donna J. (York) Vitale. Born in Beverly, son of Dorothy (Swanson) Vitale, who is 97 years old and the late Pasquale Vitale. He was a graduate of Danvers High School with the class of 1963.

Jerry was a member of the Local 4 Operating Engineers until he went into business for himself.

In addition to his wife, with whom he shared fifty-two years of marriage, he is survived by his son, Ty D. Vitale of Beverly, two brothers, Robert Vitale and his wife, Sylvia of Beverly and Daniel Vitale of NH, five nieces and nephews, Jay Vitale and his wife Katie of NH, Crystal Vitale of MA, Derrek Vitale and his wife Aimee of ME, Daniel Vitale Jr. and his wife Brandy of NH and Emily Rudolph and her husband Joey of NH and many great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

His visiting hours will be held at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly on Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 12-2 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Services and interment will be held privately. Information, directions, condolences at
