Obituary for Cynthia A. Farley

Wenham - Cynthia Ann Farley passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Born on .July 1, 1944, she resided in North Beverly until her marriage to James Vincent Farley in 1963. She was the daughter of Thelma Rowe Olson Burr of Beverly and Richard Sven Olson of Waltham.

Jim and Cindy lived in Ipswich for the first five years of their marriage and then built their present home in Wenham, where they raised their family and enjoyed many happy adventures together. Cindy loved living within the small town atmosphere where she believed children and their families were considered top priority when it came to community involvement. She volunteered for years within the music programs in the school system, Girl Scouting and Hamilton- Wenham parental sports support organizations. She loved her family and friends dearly and made herself available at all times to offer support and encouragement as needed. She retired from SOS Associates, Topsfield, in 2000.

Along with her husband, the love of her life, she leaves her two beautiful daughters, Heather A. Farley and Heidi Lynne Schrock and her husband, Christopher Schrock of Wenham; her beloved son, David Kendall Farley, his wife Suzanne Decoulos Farley of Boxford. Cindy adored her four grandchildren, Caitlin Hawkins, Chelsea Hawkins, Caden Schrock all of Wenham and Joshua Farley of Boxford. She wants them to remember that she will always be with them and will continue to be as proud of them as she always has been.

Cindy wishes to have a private burial service for her family. She also wishes that no one feel sadness but rather joy that she lived such a wonderful life. She wants all of her friends to take a moment and recall some funny things she might have done and laugh about it. She wishes people dance on her grave and celebrate her life as she believes it was a wonderful one. In lieu of flowers or donations, please just consider performing some random acts of kindness in her memory. There could be no greater gift. Arrangements by the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly . Online condolences at www.campbellfuneral.com .
