Obituary for Catherine M. Donoghue

BEVERLY - Catherine M. (Lambie) Donoghue, 93, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2017. She was the wife of the late Daniel P. Donoghue who died in 1977.
Born in Somerville on August 25, 1924, she was the daughter of the late George and Beatrice (Rourke) Lambie. She was a graduate of Hingham High School and Windham Business School. She had resided in Winthrop for over 25 years before moving to Beverly in 1988.
Catherine was employed as a credit supervisor by Sears Roebuck for over 20 years. She was also a communicant of St Margaret’s Church in Beverly Farms.
Surviving her are her children, Christine Sweeney and her husband, Richard of Beverly, Patricia Reilly and her husband, Michael of Peabody and Sheila Ernst and her husband, Paul of Plymouth; grandmother of Meghan Michaud, Kara Wheway, Erin Jenkins, Devin Oyer, Kyle Sweeney, Colin Ernst, Sean Ernst and Quinn Ernst; great-grandmother of Finleigh and Sadie Wheway, Timothy and Kate Michaud, Kadigan and Lauklin Oyer and Margaret Jenkins. She was also predeceased by her sister, Margaret Burke.
Catherine's funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 4th in St. Margaret's Church, 672 Hale St, Beverly Farms at 10:30 a.m. Visiting hours will be held on Friday in the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot St., Beverly from 4 – 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. Interment will be held in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Information, directions, condolences at www.campbellfuneral.com.
